CSL is the county level treatment affiliate for the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services, providing a range of prevention, treatment and recovery services in our county.
Our goal is to provide accessible and affordable, quality services to create hope and improve the quality of life.
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team who will prepare and ensure agency accounting, auditing, budgeting, and fiscal reporting duties are accurate and complete.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have experience working with a variety of different financial and data reports.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
Maintain agency financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Complete end of month procedures on a timely and accurate basis.
Assist with coordinating agency federal single audit and furnish auditor with proper information.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Generate subaward grant invoices Process payments and invoices accurately and efficiently.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including correct coding and entry into Quickbooks.
Education and
Experience:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in public finance, economics, accounting or closely related field is preferred; three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in financial assistance and analysis, preferably in the public sector; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Financial Statement preparation and all aspects of general Accounting is preferred Experience working with State and Federal grants preferred Knowledge and Experience with Quickbooks preferred Must be able to work under tight deadlines and turnarounds Job Type:
