Service and Parts Cashier Receipt customer down payments Balance the cash drawer and prepare deposit paperwork Match up Vendor invoices, verify and investigate discrepancies Post all Vendor Invoices correctly Match Invoices with statements and prepare for payment Maintain Vendor records, W-9 files, assist with yearend 1099 preparations Attention & Maintenance to Assigned Accounting Schedules Maintain Account Receivable records Process Monthly AR statements and apply payments Call on any past dues for collections Assist with new hire packages Scan documents Back up switchboard operator during her lunch Assist Controller with month end closing The following skills are required:
Proven Working Experience as an AP Clerk Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP principals Data entry skills with a knack for numbers Proficiency in Microsoft Office Hands on Excel experience and the ability to work with spreadsheets High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Must have the ability to accurately count money and make change without a register Must have knowledge of the standard document filing system and retrieval Work days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 a.
