Assistant Community Manager
AAMCI - Management, Inc AAMCI - Management, Inc Lancaster, SC Lancaster, SC Full-time Full-time $23 an hour $23 an hour AAMCI is excited to hire an energetic individual who is qualified with Section 8 or Tax credit experience to join our team as Assistant Community Manager at a 165-unit Multi family Project Based Section 8 and Tax Credit community located in Lancaster SC.
The community is an affordable housing community with Project Based Section 8 and LIHTC rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents.
In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.
Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm, $20.
00 to $23.
00 per hour depending on experience AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with leases, other forms and certification process Reviewing and processing all applications for residency Process verifications, move-in form and Recertifications (MIs, ARs, IRs) Collection and deposit of all resident payments Assisting in inspection of units, buildings, and common areas Ensuring that all maintenance requests are handled in in a prompt, efficient, and cost-effective manner Ensuring that all vacancies are prepared and leased in a timely manner Always striving for 100% occupancy Qualifications necessary for success:
Organizational skills Project Based Section 8 LIHTC Ability to remain calm in stressful or difficult situations Administrative experience Customer Service Clear communication skills, Written and verbal Yardi Voyager a plus MS Office Benefits include medical insurance, company paid employee dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term disability and life insurance.
Benefits also include Paid Time Off and a 401(k) plan.
In the 401(k) plan, employees are eligible after completing one year of employment and reaching an entrance date of January 1 or July 1.
Company match is 5%, and employees are vested 100% from the first contribution.
