Orkin Pest Control is currently looking for males and females for our Route Service position in the Lancaster area. This is an entry-level position that could develop into something much more. Prior pest control experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills are necessary.

Required Skills
The Successful Candidate Will . . .
Be responsible for the day to day operation of a pest control route.
Follow a daily route schedule, insuring timely arrival at each stop. (A company vehicle is provided.)
Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and cross sell additional services. Discuss the scope of services provided with the customer.
Utilize the in-depth training provided to decide on the most efficient pest solution for their customer''s needs.
Provide their customers with the best pest control and eradication services in the industry.
Complete all required service-related paperwork.
Diagnose and discuss the scope of pest control service with customers.
Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
Ensure personnel training and compliance with safety procedures.

Required Experience
This position is classified as heavy work in as much as it requires exertion of up to 60 pounds of force. Must be capable of wearing a respirator.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
